Whiskey

I recently came to the conclusion that as a 32 year old male I should be able to drink whiskey, all the tough guys in movies do it. So saturday evenings have been devoted to Whiskey training, it's good stuff. Personally I find it best downing it as shots, tastes too bad to drink it in a long drink. I do really enjoy the kind of drunk I get from it. My view on Whiskey, so far so good.



Ghetto Vodka Martini, "Ghetto Bond" that's me. Cheap rip-off Martini with bog standard Vodka, of course shaken not stirred. The Vermouth is so sweet you can not taste the Vodka at all, this shit gets you smashed. Try it.

Super Street Fighter 4

One game I've been playing far to much and wasting too much spare time on is Super Street Fighter 4 for PS3, this game is so awesome. The online mode is too addictive, great new character and stages, plus new ultra moves. New characters even include Cody from Final Fight, he even has his knife, which is waiting for you to pick and slash your opponent. Which by the way is far too much fun. I like to use cool moves and combos to then picking up the knife and slash like mad, feels so satisfying winning using the knife. I have to play SF with the arcade stick, pads are a thumb breaker and in my opinion slower. The Namco stick I use is an old PS1 stick with the help of a PS1/2 to PS3 usb adapter, the stick is now 14 years old and still going strong. Just wish the game wasn't so addictive.

Bayonetta

Recently got the platinum trophy on Bayonetta for PS3. This game is well wicked, complete Devil May Cry rip-off but even better. It's so Capcom and Sega at the same time, even has a Space Harrier level, which is awesome. All of your enemies are Angels and creatures sent from Heaven, just so you can slash, shoot and blast them into bloody pieces. As for the last boss you have to kick-in "The Creator" make of it what you will, I think it's great.

Final Fight Double Impact

A little while back I got Final Fight Double Impact from the PSN store. Final Fight is awesome, it also comes with another old game Magic Sword, to be honest I could care less about Magic Sword and would probably have prefered it if it was only Final Fight. Back to Final Fight, it's so 80's, violent, simple and fun. I really like how grimey and gritty it all is, you can pick up a dirty knife from the street and hack at violent women dressed as crazy 80's American whores, heck you can even pummel then with hefty pipes and slash at them with swords and if that fails just got at them with fists and feet. Not just the women but everyone in the game, even the 2nd player. Great game and you can also play 2p online. A few things which are bullshit with this version are: there is no button config so when I play using my arcade stick I have the use an awkward button layout. Also some of the unlockables are fan art, I fucking hate fan art most of the time, it's so bullshit and is on my actual proper Capcom game, once again I fucking hate fan art when used in an actual game, it pissed me off. Guess I never have to look at it tho. The different screen setting are real good, the emulated CRT monitor effect looks great. Final Fight itself is wicked. I know the last Final Fight pic I posted is from the GBA FinalFightOne game, but it's a cool pic.

Found this also when moving, had to scan it. It's the back from a Kelloggs cereal box, I brought it back from Japan during the time I lived there. Japanese packaging is so cool, the amount of crap I brought just cuz it looked so nice.

It's been ages since I've blogged. Just been either lazy or doing other stuff, I do tend to start things at times, I then get a little bored and don't bother with it and or come back to it time to time. I also cycle through phases with my intrests and hobbies. So I'm gonna post some new shit today, I might keep it up on a regular basis or I might just post a load of shit at one time leave it for a while etc. Not sure I'll see how it goes. I would like to use the blog as a kinda diary, but I'd also like to do loads of other stuff and never bother. So yea I'll see how it goes.
